The Gruffalo & The Gruffalo's Child - Double bill
Running time: 54 mins
Animation, Family & Fantasy
To celebrate the publication of a brand new Gruffalo picture book, Magic Light Pictures invites you to return to the deep dark wood to revisit The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child in cinemas once again. The Gruffalo tells the magical tale of a mouse walking through the woods in search of a nut. When three predators – a fox, an owl and a snake – each try to eat him, the mouse must scare them off with the description of a fearsome monster known as ‘The Gruffalo’. But has the mouse truly escaped from danger, or is this Gruffalo more real than he anticipated? The Gruffalo’s Child introduces us to a mischievous young Gruffalo who, having been warned by her father of the monster outside, tiptoes out into the snow to meet him for herself. Along the way she meets the fox, the owl, and the snake, as each of them recounts their own meeting with the most dangerous creature in the woods – the Big Bad Mouse
